Gaelscoil na Ríthe vs Dangan
Our school had a fantastic gaelic football match (a bit like Aussie rules) against Dangan. They got of to a fine start hitting around five points, but we also got a goal. After a while Dangan got a goal but we where still in the game. We struck back with a long range goal and a stunning point. But they didn’t give up and got a quick goal.
Dunshaughlin V Summerhill
The Dunshaughlin senior team were in the Meath county final two weeks ago in Pairc Tailteann (the biggest stadium in Meath.) When the ball was thrown in Summerhill won the ball and they ran ahead and scored a point but we came back quickly and scored 2 points. We gave a free in front of the goals and they capitalized and took their chances well. We almost scored a goal but the Summerhill goalkeeper saved it. Both teams scored a point each within five minutes. But they scored another 3 points.

Rugby, Ireland vs Australia
Congratulations to Ireland in the match. I have to say it was absolutely great to watch. I saw the whole match and it was so even for so long. It was so annoying the way until the second half the Ireland couch kept Sexton on. I mean he’s good but not good enough. As soon as O’Gara went on the whole match changed. It was still even but the Australian’s just didn’t have enough time left. But just as we all thought Ireland had the match in the bag Australia came forward and beat their way through the Irish forwards. They had the ball literally on the Irish try line, we all thought Australia were going to score. But at the final second, Tommy Boe went in, got the ball, sprinted the pitch only to be tackled at the end of the Australian 22. Then and there everyone knew Ireland had won seeing as there was only four minutes left.

Dunshaughlin Harvest Festival
Hi my name is Ellen. There is a festival going on in Dunshaughlin called the Harvest Festival.
There are lots of things going on like a carnival, inflatable obstacle course, and traditional music and there is live music in the village. There are great things going on. Do you have anything exciting going on in your village?
