Our school had a fantastic gaelic football match (a bit like Aussie rules) against Dangan. They got of to a fine start hitting around five points, but we also got a goal. After a while Dangan got a goal but we where still in the game. We struck back with a long range goal and a stunning point. But they didn’t give up and got a quick goal.
At half time our coach made a few changes. We came out after half time scoring another two points. They got lucky and scored a long range goal. Our backs where putting in tremendous effort to stop them from scoring. The final whistle blew and it was all over but the final score at the end was 4-12 to 4-4. What a great match but a disappointment to Gaelscoil na Rithe.
