Tayto Park School Tour, Rang 3 & Rang 4

We went on our school tour this week. We had lots of fun in a place called Tayto Park. First we had a look at all the animals. A tour guide called James brought us around the place and gave us loads of information about the animals. Here’s a list of   some of the animals we saw: buffalos, birds, foxes, highland cows, donkeys, monkeys, pot bellied pigs, porcupines, lamas, wallabies, ducks, leopards and racoons.

After we had a look at the animals we went to the Tayto factory where they make 9 different types of crisps like Hunky Dorys, King Crisps, Tayto, and Chicketees. Did you know that Tayto Crisps were the first  in the world to add flavouring to crisps? After the factory we had lunch in the picnic area. After lunch we went to the Sky Eagle Zone where you can do loads of activities like rock climbing, bungee jumping and sky walking. There was face painting and body art in one of the tipi tents and we all got our names painted on our arms.
